Last month’s predictions have come true! November releases are gaining heavy circulation. The November 2 release of the final installment of Nora Robert’s Bride Quartet, Happy Ever After, took the No. 7 and No. 5 spots on the Most Downloaded eBooks and Audiobooks lists. Released one week later, Decision Points, the long-awaited presidential memoir by George W. Bush, also nabbed spots on both lists. The Most Downloaded Nonfiction eBook list also saw an addition from Bill Bryson’s latest, At Home, in the No. 5 spot, and like its predecessors, also made it onto the audiobook list.
‘Bieber Fever’ has taken over the rarely changing Juvenile Nonfiction eBook list, as Justin Bieber’s self-titled biography comes in at No. 3. Bieber’s book is followed closely by Barack Obama’s, wonderfully illustrated, Of Thee I Sing, in the No. 5 spot.
What newly published titles will make next month’s list? I can’t be certain, but I’m guessing one of the many wildly popular biographies like Cleopatra, Life, or Unbroken have an excellent chance.
The Most Downloaded Books from the Library lists are organized by subject and format, and compiled based on activity at more than 13,000 libraries in the OverDrive global network. You can view these lists of most downloaded books for the month of November in Content Reserve.
