Over the past several months, we’ve shared best practices for promoting your Virtual Branch Library via Facebook, Twitter and, most recently, Pinterest. Feedback from our library partners tells us you’re interested in learning more about social networking and online marketing, and we’re here to help! Based on your valuable input, we decided it was time to refresh and update our marketing-centered training, Community Outreach.
You’ll find fresh examples and ideas for promoting your digital collection by increasing visibility inside your library, reaching out to new users in the community and connecting with patrons online. Some brand-new features in this updated training include:
- Marketing with QR codes
- Getting started with Facebook and Twitter
- Using advanced social-networking features
- Investing in online advertising on Facebook and Google
